To make yourself stand out, hmm, my best suggestion would be that if you see a house advertising for a philanthropy, I know 5k runs are very big right now, grab a few of your friends and head out to support the philanthropy. While you are there introduce yourself to the people hosting the event. Clean up your social media, if you don't want your future employer to see it, don't have it posted. A lot of women forget about twitter, watch your language on twitter, the chapters will be checking you out on social media. Partying with a potential chapter is not the way to get invited to that chapters recruitment events. if you have the opportunity to get to know women in chapters, take it, but do it sober. If you have sorority women in your classes, try sitting next to close to them, the chance to chat or meet them may present itself, but if it doesn't, don't force it. My best advice is to be yourself, and remember that every chapter at Wazzu has a great sisterhood, a wonderful philanthropy, a strong scholarship program and has a lot of fun. And I believe the smallest chapter at WSU is approx. 130 women, that is a lot of women to get to know, you will get along and fit in with women of every chapter.
