Baseball is a thinking man's sport and while bulk CAN help (as proven in the juicing era) it is a game of finesse. The game really isn't about blasting every ball out of the park; it's about the dinker into deep right field (instead of left field)that allows the double to get home, or the shift that puts the defense all cattywampus but correctly guesses where the next hit ball will go.
It's also about guys who are of normal human height and structure with great bodies and uniforms that display that as opposed to being buried under VERY necessary padding, just to keep them alive. just sayin.
