But to be honest, I found the Greek Advisor's response too long with the major point—the response to the charge that too many women were "left out" by the end of recruitment—buried too far down. Given the overall tone of the response, which bordered on defensive and condescending, I'd be surprised if a large percentage of non-Greek readers made it through the platitudes to get that far in the response. To me, this is the kind of response that Greeks in general will cheer, but that will change few minds among non-Greeks.
