Kevin, it's true there are a lot of frontrunners who have come out of the woodwork in KC. I have been a Cubs fan FOREVER and became a Royals fan when I moved to KC in the 90's. While living in the Middle East I followed both. Moving to Orange County I tried to get behind the Angels but I just couldn't make myself care. So coming back to the Midwest, and feeling a bit like my ex got the Cubs in the divorce (not that it mattered but divorce makes you think weird things), I began to focus my attention on the Royals. And, you know, I moved back and they won. Just sayin. You're welcome, Kansas City.
