Since the summer began (actually, about a month before), I've been reading different books. The books I've read so far are:

1. Nigger: The Strange Career of a Troublesome Word by Randall Kennedy (good book; he really did his research) There's an interesting anecdote about Tiger Woods which may explain why he wants to be referred to as a Cablinasian....
2. Sister, Sister by EJD (great read!!! )
3. Milk in My Coffee by EJD (good read)
4. Liar's Game by EJD (good read, but didn't like the ending)

I just bought three more books from the Black Arts Festival in ATL. They are:

1. Cheaters by EJD
2. Beloved by Toni Morrison
3. The Bluest Eye by Toni Morrison (read it already; excellent read)

Books I enjoy reading over & over are:

1. The Coldest Winter Ever by Sister Souljah
2. Disappearing Acts by Terry McMillan
3. Mama by Terry McMillan (I LMAO each time I read it)
4. I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings by Maya Angelou
5. Sister, Sister by EJD

Those are my rays of sunshine. Until next time, people!!!
