We don't drink in letters, or at sorority sponsored events either, but it's never really seemed to be an issue for us during recruitment.
We aren't supposed to talk about partying though. My suggestion would be that if you get questions about partying you either redirect the question to fun sisterhood things you guy do together, to show that you do know how to have fun, or you say something to the effect of you being a very diverse chapter and each member does whatever she feels most comfortable with.
That way your not coming out and saying that you're a dry chapter, but you are letting the PNM's know that if they don't want to drink they don't have to, and also if they do that would be okay too.
We actually attract a lot of girls because we are not the girls who are totally wasted all the time, it's a big draw for the older girls, JJuniors usually during COB, but I can see how it might hurt you during formal recruitment.
