i was cob'ed right after formal rush my freshman year, never even made it to informal rush so i didn't attend a 'pref' ceremony until the next spring (i missed out
)... but, i did get a random invite to another of the (slightly uninformed, lol) chapter's events during next fall's informal recruitment... haha i guess they just knew i never went through formal the previous spring and figured i was still a "free agent" if you will
