tangent: is it campuses, campi, something else?
According to Wiktionary (the Dictionary part of Wikipedia), campuses is common and campi is viewed as rare and non-standard.

Campus is latin for field or area of action, so the use in an area of education doesn't really exist (Campi would be Nominative or Vocative plural or Genitive singular) . Campi *is* the plural of campus (in the collegiate sense) in Portuguese, but not French or Spanish.
