Reminds me of when one member of the US men's volleyball team had lost all his hair from cancer... the entire team shaved their heads. Solidarity, in all forms, is awesome!

Just FYI: not all Medic-alert bracelets are huge and silver and tacky with a big caduceus on them. When I was in high school, a coworker of mine had to get one. She found one that was small and gold and pretty. Apparently it was in a certain "ID bracelet" shape that lets EMT's know that it's a Medic-alert. So it's possible to get one that doesn't scream "I have medical problems!"
