KappaStargirl-Loved your ideas. I think it's good advice for EVERY chapter facing recruitment. I honestly believe many ills can be attacked with good "PR" and your suggestions are excellent.
It's so hard for me to understand why some of the smaller chapters can't send out each one of their members to meet and bring 1-just ONE girl who fits the standards into the fold. It HAS to be difficult though because it's a problem that is mentioned so often.
Of all your ideas, it's hard to choose which one is best, but visibility is right up there.
Get in the mindset of rushing as though you're the most popular girls on campus: People get to be popular because they're outgoing, smart, funny, and generally pleasant to be around. Popular people can have fun in all different kinds of social situations
I think this is the key, with emphasis on pleasant to be around-not snobby. It's amazing how our own perception of ourselves can influence what others see. It's like advisng a PNM to walk into those recruitment parties with CONFIDENCE.
KappaKittycat-hope you get a lot of responses and once again, I'll agree with KappaStargirl-You should call panhellenic on their lack of support.
