Alabama does offer some pretty sweet scholarships for out of state kids with high GPAs and SAT/ACTS, though. And I think all the football coverage probably makes more kids aware of the campus, etc. Isn't there a Gameday show from Tuscaloosa every year?

I think purt'near all the SEC schools have built a special area for ESPN to set up Gameday. ESPN announces where it will go on a week-by-week basis according to the schedule and the rankings.
