phialum believed that the PNM did not have a rec for one particular chapter because despite her best efforts she was unable to secure one. My point was that she could not possibly be 100% certain of that fact. I was unaware that I had a rec to a chapter I preferenced, until after rush was finished.
That's all, no big deal. It was just a sharing of information, since not everyone realizes that if a rec is needed for a desired pnm a chapter will do what's necessary to obtain a rec. Networking, especially in this era, is lightning fast.
No way to reasonably connect the dots to infer that this convo indicates that PNMs shouldn't do everything possible to obtain recs. I never said anything like that and neither did anyone else who followed up on my posts.
