Wayyyyyyyy back in December, Halo applied for a scholarship through the National Eagle Scout Association and he received a letter today indicating he has been chosen as a recipient of a $2500 scholarship. Around 7000 kids applied and 250 received scholarships. <proud mom look here>.

Orientation is next week and we are forming the 'pile' of stuff for his dorm in the family room. Thankfully, it is a smaller pile than Hypo had. Much smaller.
