Thanks everyone! It did end up being a good birthday. I went to dinner with boy and his brother/sister-in-law and we are going to go shopping this weekend! He tried to find me the "perfect" gift and couldn't (I knew he wouldn't be able to but the effort was nice).
At least things on the bday front are good.
