I haven't every used De-slick because I know I would get it in my hair. I know lots of people who love it. For oil control in the summer I like to use Makeup Forever Mat Velvet + foundation (on days I want more coverage than a CC cream.) I find that foundation never turns slimy or shiny (but it is a bit too dry for winter.)
