At least for Sigma Alpha Epsilon, the organization in the Philippines deliberately attempts to properly indicate that there is *no* relation between the organization *and* they come from a completely separate history (Started out as Society of Agricultual Engineers).

This is as opposed to the Philippines groups of Alpha Tau Omega, Alpha Chi Omega and Phi Beta Kappa which either blatantly copy, deliberately confuse, claim a relationship that doesn't even come close to existing or all three.

Alpha Phi Omega, OTOH, is in *full* relationship with Alpha Phi Omega of the Philippines. Considerably different culture, but *full* relationship. Yes, that's caused some heartburn, but they are our Brothers and Sisters (yes, APO-Phil uses Brothers and Sisters and APO-USA uses Brothers for both men and women)
