It seems that our many stickied threads are achieving their purpose - giving an encyclopedia of advice that site visitors can read through without repeating the same old questions over and over again.
Then again, maybe they've achieved their purpose TOO well. I can't remember a year when we've had so few new forum members asking recruitment questions.
They HAVE to be going somewhere! In additional to this forum, I always recommend the NPC's site,
www.thesororitylife.com, and a member's blog,
www.sororitygirl101.com, as reliable sources for information.
Many schools have member-created Facebook pages for freshmen signing up for sorority recruitment. I've been allowed to join one for the purpose of answering questions. Because of Facebook's structure, though, it's frustrating to see the same misinformation repeated.
Even that nasty site is seeing some solid help offered if you look hard enough.
Where are the PNMs going for help now????
