We negotiate with anyone willing to negotiate, a lot of it is stuff the general public will probably never know about.
We also don't leave soldiers behind, so yes I'm okay with the swap. We've lost enough military members, if we could of done something to brjng this guy home I'm for doing it.
I've also heard that this negotiation was part of the larger overall negotiations going on in preparation of the Afghanistan draw down.
