Stolen from FB. Here's a pic of 4 SKs flashing both versions. The one on the left is doing what AOIIAngel described. The other two are doing what I described.
eta: That chapter consistently does the signs on the right. I think the girls on the left just failed to connect.
eta: After doing some google image search for AOII hand sign I'm finding way more variety on the positioning of the fingers. Some flair, some close the fingers and rotate to emphasize the "A" part. Some only raise the index fingers for the "A" and use the rest of the fingers in the heart part.
None of it's that serious. Can't believe I just spent more than five minutes on this.
