It depends on your organization... Sometimes it would be great. I don't think so as much for my organization.

Open communications SHOULD be as simple as publishing a current directory. As treasurer, I try to contact anyone that's having "issues" on their bills... And they can always contact me if they have to warn me about something.

Members need to be continuously reminded (or taught really well the first time) which officer is responsible for what. If everyone goes straight to the pres. for mundane crap then not only does the officer that actually knows what's going on get passed over, the person seeking info gets info from the pres that is either incomplete, nonexistant or incorrect. Don't be afraid to refer them to the proper person!
