You may want to check with family members before you get rid or cut it up. There may be a family connection to it.
As an example, I come from a family with lots of cousins. One cousin is 13 years older and when he completed college; my aunt (his mom) boxed up a bunch of his old clothes and gave them to my Mother for us “younger boys” to use as “play clothes”. Included was a well worn (and now smaller) fraternity sweatshirt. I remember wearing it off and on up to maybe junior high school. It ended up being put away with other worn clothes. Years later, my brother came across the box and was able to get the sweatshirt back to our cousin's nephew – who happened to have joined the same GLO. Even though our cousin's nephew never wore the sweatshirt, he was very pleased to get his uncle's sweatshirt. As I recall his girlfriend (at the time) made it into a pillow or pillow cover - something along those lines.
