I feel like I missed something. Why is it a no-no to talk about this news story? To be frank, I couldn't care less about this girl and her family, but it IS a national news story (and not by our doing) so if folks choose to discuss it, it's their prerogative.

I think Kevin's point is the problem of passing judgment on the people involved as if we know everything there is to know about the situation when we don't.
