Re: To give or not to give-that is the question...
My entire organization decides on who joins our sorority.
Basically we vote yes, no, or abstain (which means you don't know the girl well enough to vote on her). Then we discuss why people voted no. Some people are willing to give potential new members a chance.
In my organization most potential new members get all "yes" votes. If someone has a problem with a potential new member she is usually does not receive a Preference Night invitation.
