I'm guessing that a strike is a disciplinary action taken by the University when a student violates Code of Conduct or gets a Minor In Possession Citation, for example. And if I'm correct, that would make you a risk management concern. That is the one issue that would harm you, IN MY OPINION.

High school grades no longer count when you attend college. The college GPA is what is considered.

Hopefully you have volunteer activities that aren't involuntary and you've involved yourself in other campus groups. And from what you've written, it sounds like you might already have your opinions about certain groups, which is unfortunate for you. As an out of state sophomore at Ole Miss, you need to be open to every single group. Period. There are enough threads on GC about Ole Miss that state that fact and many others. Go into recruitment with the knowledge that yes, you may well get released from every single group. OTOH, you may well have a happy ending IF YOU KEEP AN OPEN MIND.
