Okay, well, I was under the impression that it was a requirement. What I don't understand about your campus is that if their GPA is currently below the requirement for initiation, isn't it moot point? Grades from the current semester are the only thing to bring up the GPA and initiation is typically before the end of the semester (I'm not familiar with holdovers, so, I'm not even sure if that's done in NPC), so why even bother paying the fee and rushing? On the EXTREMELY small chance that you have pull with someone important who would get special permission from nationals??
