My chapter's recruitment isn't till like the middle of September or something. It's informal (formal!) recruitment. That means you do the rounds of parties, but there's no quota or bid matching. It's a total pain in the ass, but I think it'll be ok. The colony I advise, their recruitment is September 5-9 or something like that, and we're going there for a work weekend in August.
