Pete Seeger, May 3, 1919 - January 27, 2014

One of America's true troubadours passed away yesterday. Pete Seeger, author of "If I Had A Hammer", "We Shall Overcome", "Turn! Turn! Turn!", "Where Have All The Flowers Gone?" and so many more folk songs died at the age of 94 in New York.

Pete Seeger dies at 94; Balladeer was America's conscious (LA Times)

Whether you agreed with his politics or not, his music was the voice of so many Americans. Our home will be filled with his music tonight as we mourn him. May he rest in peace.
