I'm participating in a monthly book club and the book that we'll be reading for this month is caled, "nigger: The Strange Career of a Troublesome Word" by Randall Kennedy. When I first saw it in the bookstore, the title just grabbed me and I had to buy it. When I'm done reading it, I'll let you know how it was!!!

I can't believe that I totally forgot to update you guys about this book!!! I've been all over the place keeping busy and didn't mean to neglect to inform you that this book was really good. Randall Kennedy did his research and explained how many different people use the word, "nigger," and I now know why Tiger Woods wants to be called a "Cablinasian." If you don't know, read the book.
