My daughter is at Purdue currently. There are a few things that you need to realize. While there is a Meet the Greeks event, it is for both frats and sororities. Only 3-4 housed sororities may be there. It all depends on retention from the fall pledge classes. Every housed sorority made quota so the numbers could be very slim that are being filled with COB. If a house only has a few slots to fill, they often pick up friends of current sisters. It may not be unusual for there to be 50-100 girls at an event with only 3-5 bids to be given.
The houses may have open events or they may look at the list of names registered for COB and invite girls to events or coffee dates based on fall formal recruitment rankings.
