I could maybe understand if you had lived in Brooklyn your whole life and had to move away, or had some other such deep connection to the place (and intended to call her Brook in company)...but when you've never BEEN to New York, and never to Brooklyn...why?

And I grumped about this in another thread...Stryker. Seriously. Stryker. I went to a kid's store to buy a present for my angel tree kid, and a mother was complaining about how they didn't have any license plates for Stryker. With a y.
