It doesn't matter if he got spanked every day with a paddle full of nails by every fraternity member on his campus. If he is behaving in this unprofessional of a manner, he has no business in a college (or any other) classroom. I think ASTalumna06 and I are on the same page. If you and the other Greeks wore letters and made your affiliation known, and he graded you prejudicially because of that, you could call him on it. (The best thing would be for someone who really isn't Greek to wear KEG letters or the like.)
This isn't "academic freedom" if he's talking about something that doesn't relate to the course, or neglecting talking about things that DO relate to the course to go on his asinine rants.
