Humm, I didn't think it was illegal to text while stopped at a light.
One time there was an accident on I5 and the cops were there redirecting traffic, the guy in the car next to me was texting about 5 ft away from the officer. The freeway was busy and a little confusing with all of the redirecting going on. I was really surprised that he didn't get any situations.
