Today was bid day, and I received one! I was really nervous because the time slots for finding out you weren't receiving a bid became longer and longer. However, I didn't receive a call, so onto to student union I went!
When I arrived, I was sad to find out that a few of my friends did not receive a bid
. A lot of girls suicided and were back, so they already knew which chapter they were receiving a bid for. I was freaking out, though! All last night and this morning I was switching back and forth between my two preffed sororities, I had no idea which one I really wanted.
I was also really curious to find out who my rho gammas were. I had a few guesses, but I wasn't sure. Each group has two rho gammas, who each take on half of the group. All of the rho gammas would reveal their chapters after we opened our bids.
Finally the rho gammas began to hand out our bids, which we stood on top of. After an excruciating wait, I opened my bid to see an invitation to join...

I started crying right away. A girl in my group who I had been talking to all week also got a bid for AXiD! I'm so excited to start my life in this sisterhood. The rho gammas revealed their chapters next. Each rho gam revealed a sweatshirt with their letters on it. I was waaaaaay off, until the rho gams took off the sweatshirt to reveal their REAL letters. One of my rho gams is a member of
Alpha Chi Omega, but the one that I had become really close with is in ALPHA XI DELTA too!!!!! I started crying even harder at that point, I am so lucky to call this girl my sister.
After the rho gams were revealed, I got to run outside and meet my chapter! There was so much screaming and crying and laughing, it was such an emotional experience. Every chapter walked around campus chanting and singing before heading back to the Greek village, where all of the fraternities were cheering for us. We took a ton of pictures, then went into the house. I hadn't been able to see this house on tour night, and I love it! For hours we all just sat and got to know each other, it was such a great experience. All of the Fuzzie girls are so nice, I love being around them. I already feel so close and welcomed into this chapter
