While sites can have useful information and certainly the national/international sites are kept up to date - I have to say the local sites are pretty hit or miss. They could be gorgeous sites but out of date because the chapter paid someone to make it and then it is not easy to update, or it could be simple but well updated because the Communications director took an interest. From my observations - a lot of "top" chapters dont always have a great site, because its just not a priority. They are out doing what they do that makes them great. If they have been great for a while they aren't really concerned about maximizing their web presence, they are recruiting targeting people they already know.
