Aww. Im sorry. Did they give you a reason? My daughter went in last year "knowing" that she was going to end up with a bid to one of the top houses at A&M. Well, after 2 days of full party schedules she was stunned to find out that she was only invited to one preference party. After lots of tears (from both of us) and a long phone conversation she decided the experience of being in a sorority was more important than what level of house she belonged to. Thankfully, she received a bid the next day. It took some time to get over the sting of rejection, but over about a 6 week time period she found herself really liking her house. And now, a year later, she is proud of her house and loves her new sisters.
