Just a few weeks ago, a friend of mine mentioned that the chapters at her school were always trying to “sabotage” each other during recruitment. I asked her point black what she meant. She replied that chapters were always trying to “steal” other chapters’ legacies and girls from their hometowns. I actually laughed and said I didn’t think there was anything wrong with that and it shouldn’t be considered “sabotage” at all. That all the girls were fair game so to speak. However, she was adamant that these were acts of “sabotage" and stood by her use of the word.
