I guess I have no soul. I really didn't like Up, and I found scenes like that manipulative (as in "we're going to make you get teary-eyed now") rather than genuinely moving.

LOL. I knew what you meant. I was trying to get a "not me" denial across. Sorry that my facetiousness didn't come through.

And since I've admitted the sports movies trigger, I might as well admit my other trigger—musicals. Not every musical, of course. I'm not tearing up over The Music Man, and unlike some, The Sound of Music doesn't do it for me at all. But the final scene of Carousel, on the other hand, gets me every time.
