I had no idea that puddling up wasn't a national phrase! My daddy used it a lot, but he got a LOT of phrases from his mother (Swiss heritage). Maybe that's its etymology? It doesn't seem to have a definition outside honeychileville.

Brian's Song! Dozens of boxes of tissues, pretty trash cans, and popcorn & Cokes rounded out the party. My DH thinks it's
