If a PNM like the Panhellenic president is from Tulsa or OKC, she might have connections and could possibly squeak by without a rec (albeit with limited options).

I was happy to see that they said "yes you should get recs". Then to see what they said about recs in a separate document was confusing. Last year during a school visit my daughter was told by Greek Life that letters of rec weren't necessary. Thank goodness we stumbled upon Greek Chat and learned that wasn't necessarily truth in practice.
