I think the concern here is that while you seem to love your new sisterhood, you are still seeing it as secondary to the other Greek institutions on campus. Different and distinct is not lesser. By saying you want the girls to go through a more traditional rush so that you are not stepping on anyone's toes, you are saying the girls should do rush in the correct order, and then end up with you as a last result. Or at least after understanding their alternatives. Some people don't need alternatives to make decisions.
