I had some very annoying coworkers who would do things like play their music too loud, sing along (off key, of course), have strange sound effects on their computers, etc. Apparently the concept of headphones was beyond them.
I just brought in a few CD's, hooked up my own headphones to the computer, and listened to my music instead of theirs. Would that help?
