Hello,

I am transferring to the Cockrell School of Engineering in the Fall, and I have become interested in joining a sorority. I have a high GPA, and I am involved in extra-curricular activities and volunteer work, but I am the first person in my family to go to University for a Bachelor's degree, so I have no legacy whatsoever. I would really like to join a sorority, but I don't know if it's too late for me. I've been researching, and apparently I need letters of recommendation before I ever even go to the events the sororities have planned for learning about the girls interested in joining a sorority. I think joining a sorority would be very beneficial and fun, but I am feeling a little lost...

I guess I'm asking, am I too late to join a sorority since I would need to be asking for letters of recommendation now?

Thank you so much for reading my post.
