These kinds of "benefits" are way,
way down on the list of reasons to be Greek and are no different from the discounts and group rates that one can often get from college/university alumni associations, AAA, or any number of other groups. And they will vary from GLO to GLO. Some groups may have a deal with GEICO, and others may not.
But if you were simply to ask what the benefits of being a member of a fraternity or sorority are, I don't think discounts on car insurance, hotels or restaurants would occur to anyone here. If that's what you're looking for, try AAA -- it requires a lot less personal commitment.
