I wore a black dress to my pref night and I'll admit I felt a little bit uncomfortable in it because all of the other PMNs were in brightly colored dresses. I felt like I stuck out in a negative way as we waited outside the houses to go in, which did nothing for my already shaky confidence. Also, both chapters where I preffed wore black so at some points I felt like I was blending in too much with the sisters and not standing out, if that makes sense.
