I have posted about this before but it was almost a year ago. I was thinking about rushing last year, but decided not to because I wanted to ground myself for my first year of college. BIG MISTAKE. I did make the most of my freshmen experience (charity, good grades, church, fun) I knew that something was missing. Other than my roomate, I made a lot of shallow "friends". I looked around at sorority girls that looked like they were having the time of their life with their sisters. So getting to the point, do you think I could get a bid as a sophomore at OU? I know several girls in the greek system, but I would not call them close friends (two orientation group ladies, as well as many girls that lived in my hall that I was always nice to). I am also a minority, but I get the feeling that this is not as much an issue as other schools. I currently do not have any recs. I am not gorgeous, but I have a good personality and would describe myself as pretty. I will contact my local Panhellenic tomorrow. Thank you in advance!
No one here will be able to tell you your chances of receiving a bid.

Even if we could, would that stop you from participating in recruitment? Just go through the process and see what happens!

(And depending on which OU you're attending, recs may be something you'll want to get)
