So sad about this. I went to high school with him but didn't really know him. I have mutual friends with his wife, whom he just married 2 weeks ago. She's also pregnant

A Riverview father is among the five Michigan natives who were killed Monday when a cargo plane crashed in Afghanistan.
A total of seven people, all U.S. citizens, died in the Boeing 747-400 crash, which happened shortly after takeoff from Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan.
The plane, operated by National Airlines, was en route to Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
ETA: He went to the Catholic school in my city but must've gone to the public school before.
