At my school you have to be Lavaliered or a sweetheart/MOTY to wear another gender's letters. You don't even think of putting on your boyfriend's letter sweater just because you're cold or something. It's a huge respect thing at my school. Grant it, there are probably people that bend the rules, but they're probably in orgs I don't hang around.
