Okay, guess what honey, I'm a TKE Sweetheart, and I'm damn proud to wear my man's letters. The meaning behind a sweetheart wearing the letters is that he is putting her up to the same (and even more) importance than the fraternity, she has become equal. I will agree that I have gotten upset when others have thrown around their letters without regard to whom. Especially to other women who totally do not understand and importance of the fraternity's letters. I've ended up becoming close friends with my boyfriends (future fiance) brothers, in fact, when he told them of his desision of pinning me they were all excited and happy with it. So, I'm sorry if you do not want to 'share' your letters with who you love, you're missing a whole different experience. Also, do not think that just because the member of the opposite sex that just so happens is wearing your letters is a bad idea. Learn a bit more before assuming anything.
