Paradox

If the probability that the peanut-buttered side of the bread falls facedown on a brand-new carpet is directly proportional with the cost of the carpet, and if cats always fall on their four legs, then what would happen if I spread peanut-butter in the back of a cat and throw it up in the air above a brand-new carpet?
