She has been diagnosed with papilledma- swelling of the optic nerve, essentially, due to intracranial pressure. She's got an emergency appointment with a opthalmic neuorlogist tomorrow to try to determine the cause. There are many possibilities. She has contacted the disability office to work out some class accommodations at the urging of the health center doc. I may be heading to NYC soon.
